Well hello! I'm sad Patrick leaves Monday but seeing him up here has been so freaking nice! He's the best. I got pictures I'm gonna send home. I'll tell my mom or dad to email them. Actually I just decided I'll mail the pictures with this letter ha! So how do you like the pictures? Lol? Isn't it weird the next time we write I'll be in France! Je suis tres enthusiaste pour ca! I can't wait to go! I want to work my freaking butt off! It's crazy because time has flown. Life is so awesome with this spirit. Amber, I love it. I'm so happy. :) I love this gospel and this church. Jeffery R. Holland came two or 3 weeks ago and said something I really love. He said, "Salvation is not a cheap experience. The path to redemption always goes through Gethsemane." How true that is. I add my testimony to that statement. Anyway just the spirit that has been here has helped me stay strong as steel. And just so you know I love you so much for everything you've ever done for me. So the next cool thing is that I finished the Book of Mormon this week and I'm up to 2 Nephi 30 in the French one you gave me! Amber I testify of the truthfulness of that book. I promise you that if you read everyday and study with the spirit you will have an outpouring of blessings. Not only that but if you make time for reading and studying God will make it easier for all your school and work assignments to be completed. I know this for sure. Love the Book of Mormon like those who wrote it for you. Remember that. I love you. Okay so I need to shower and get ready for the temple but I'll keep writing when I return. :)
Well hey, I'm back from having a very interesting and frankly irreverent temple session. I don't understand why people aren't more solemn in the temple. But hey I thought of something. Well really it just came to me while I was there. If we can start living and thinking in God's ways instead of the ways of man, we can start to really know the truth of all things. I've just been thinking like, we try to prove things are real. We always want proof but proof is of man. We will realize that all things happen the way they do because God is in control. For example, I think of time. Everyone uses time to verify truth and such when really God doesn't use time! He's infinite! Ha just kinda something fun I thought I'd share. Anyway so Patrick is great! He is focused and he's doing really well. But yeah we see each other daily and he is always happy. We both love you. I'm so thankful that I've been able to make your life happy. What else are best friends for? Well I need to get back to the work. I will talk to you later. If you need anything, ask. I've got hook-ups! I love you :)
